Our last film before the summer break is The Sense of an Ending, an adaptation of the novel for which Julian Barnes won the 2011 Booker prize.
Tony Webster, a grumpy retired divorcee, leads a reclusive and quiet life until a bequest from the mother of his girlfriend at university leads him to confront and reassess the past.
